Don't you all remember the very first time you wore makeup, whether your mom knew about it or not? Chances are you were using the brand Wet N Wild. This brand has been a cult favorite amongst tweens since as far back as most of us can remember. Well it's time that we stop associating Wet N Wild with bad blue eyeshadow and terribly applied mascara!
In the past couple of years Wet N Wild has become a force to be reckoned with and we all need to take a better look at this brand. They even has a line of healthy mineral products called Beauty Benefits.
A few weeks ago I decided to give WNW another whirl--I mean, with most products under 5 bucks, what's there to lose? If I don't like it I can toss it and if I do like it, hey, I found a sweet beauty product that's cheap and chic! Lucky for me that I loved the eyeshadow product called Ultimate Expressions Eyeshadow Palette.

This new palette comes in 3 different color compacts, Sand Castle, Paradise Cove, and Island. I picked up the Sand Castle compact and boy, was I pleasantly surprised...these silky, pressed powder formula eyeshadows are all made to complement any eye color. There are 8 colors in each palette and they all work together to give everyone perfectly defined eyes. The cute, little compact even has a handy mirror at the bottom for us on-the-go gals.
The moral of the story is, don't let your pre-teen memories of horrifying yearbook pictures ruin your willingness to try an old favorite. After all, there was a reason you loved it so much back then and I'm here to tell you there's a reason to love it right now!
So, next time you're at Walgreens or Target, just pick up one of the new and improved Wet N Wild products. I promise you'll be happy you did.

A must have for my pro makeup kit: WnW lip pencil #666! My kit is not complete without it!
WnW, I loved you then and love you still. My fave? For .99 cents, you can't beat the eyeliners. I think they last just as long as pricier brands, and for a buck, who cares if that teal green color didn't look as good on as it did in the store?
haha i'm slightly obsessed
okay really obsessed
I LOVE the lip glosses too Serenek
I love W&W, but not for neutrals. Where is the 'wild' in that palette? I will always be partial to their 99 cent black eyeliners & crazy nail shades.
Is it a shame that I never stopped using Wet'n'Wild products? I am huge fan of their nail polishes, especially in the summer time. I wore their lipstick from about age 18 to about age 28. Their lipliners have always been a fav. Now, I complain because WNW nail polishes have gone up from 99-cents to like 1.99. lol.
i love wet n' wild glassy gloss. it will always be one of my favorite products. people always ask me where i get my lip gloss and i love how its super shiny.
