I recently had the chance to experience Redpoint’s Age Minimizer Line Filler makeup primer, prior to acknowledging its anti-aging properties. After blending it onto my skin, my skin was instantly brighter and my pores smoothed over. After applying my makeup on top, my skin glowed with a natural-looking luminosity. I had to know what made this stuff so good so I took a look at the product ingredients. What I found was unlike anything I'd ever seen in a makeup primer.Redpoint Age Minimizer Line Filler reintroduces hyaluronic acid to the skin (as our skin happens to product it naturally at smaller levels) to help the skin retain moisture. This gives the skin a plumped, hydrated look.
Together, these antibacterial properties used in Redpoint's anti-aging makeup primer add an instant brightening effect to the skin.
Redpoint Cosmetics claims to be the first line of makeup to incorporate skincare technology. Of course, skincare technology is not new to makeup. Cosmetics line Lancôme—daughter company to L’Oreal—is now using patented skincare ingredient polyxylane in its new Le Rouge lipsticks to minimize fine lines around the lips. Redpoint, however, has created an entire line of makeup containing skin care ingredients. This includes eyeliner, lipstick, and Redpoint’s now-infamous Blushwhip cream blush.
It's nice to know that just by applying makeup, I can do long-term good for my skin.
